As newborn babies desire the pure milk of the WORD! [1 Peter 2:2]

God has blessed Tabitha and I with a beautiful baby girl! Welcome Abigail Garcia. She only cries when she’s hungry for milk! She doesn’t cry for poop or anything else. God showed me through my daughter, Abigail how we as Christians should be.

Desire Jesus

At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me. [Matthew 18:1-5]

Children depend on their parents to survive! A baby can’t even live without their parents. Why, then, did Jesus say to grown adults that unless they become like one of these little children, they will not enter the kingdom of heaven. DEPENDANCY! Jesus calls you to desire God like children desire their parents. Children want their parents’ attention. God wants yours. But, we have an abundance of the world! We think we don’t need God. Desire the Word! The word is Jesus. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, [John 1:14]

You don’t Know God!

On Gate Two Street in Okinawa, I have a lot of conversations with people about what they think about God or their excuses as to why they are out in sin-city-central. Ninety percent of the people I talk to are “Christians” an “believe” in God. One conversation I had was with a “Catholic,” who was drunk DRUNK. He said, the reason he was drinking was because of this verse: For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do, [Romans 7:15] In my head I was like, “Bruh, these guys.” The first things I do is I test how much of a God-fearing person they are:

-When is the last time you went to church? “In the states, but there is the chapel on base”

-Do you read your Bible everyday? “well yeah… the daily verse.” What was it then? “uhhh I forgot.”

Then, I dove right in.

-Do you know the 10 commandments? “uhh I know them but not right now.” So that’s a no.

-What is the Gospel? “The Bible.” No. It is the good news. What is it? “Not sure”

Now, they were trapped by their own claims, “I am a Catholic” or “I know God.” They tried to use scripture to support their sin. They claimed they would pay in purgatory. I said to them, “find me scripture supporting your claim”. I said they could even use their Catholic bibles, so I handed them my phone with it pulled up. They couldn’t do it. I said to them that Jesus was a rabbi, and that He revealed the old testament. I asked, “Where did Jesus reveal purgatory?” They couldn’t support their claims.

Then I showed them how THEY DON’T KNOW GOD! Jesus answered and said to them, You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God. [Matthew 22:29] The two gentlemen then let me pray over them that the Holy Spirit guide them into the word.

Ministerial Alliance

A monthly gathering of missionaries and pastors. We attended this monthly gathering with Pastor Nick. We met pastors from all over Okinawa and we shared our testimonies and prayed over each other.
